  • WallFlex Colonic
    • Comes in 25mm or 22mm body diameter, with 60, 90, 120mm expanded stent length for each, and a delivery system of either 230cm or 135cm
    • To minimise tenesmus, distal end should be >6cm above the anal verge or >2cm above the anal canal
    • 10Fr/3.3mm TTS then OTW system
    • Only proximal end is flared
    • Can be recaptured and redeployed up to about 70% of deployment
  • Technique
    • Need 0.035in straight-tip Jagwire, some sort of Fogarty balloon-like thing, II in room, contrast
    • Navigate to distal edge of lesion
    • Cross with guidewire
    • Use balloon thing to cross lesion, inflate balloon, inject contrast, check anatomy of proximal extent of lesion, pull out balloon thing
    • Insert stent introducer and cross lesion until distal marking is visible at distal edge of lesion
    • Deploy under II
  • Post-procedure
    • Sips clear fluids
    • LRD next day
