- Comes in 25mm or 22mm body diameter, with 60, 90, 120mm expanded stent length for each, and a delivery system of either 230cm or 135cm
- To minimise tenesmus, distal end should be >6cm above the anal verge or >2cm above the anal canal
- 10Fr/3.3mm TTS then OTW system
- Only proximal end is flared
- Can be recaptured and redeployed up to about 70% of deployment
- Technique
- Need 0.035in straight-tip Jagwire, some sort of Fogarty balloon-like thing, II in room, contrast
- Navigate to distal edge of lesion
- Cross with guidewire
- Use balloon thing to cross lesion, inflate balloon, inject contrast, check anatomy of proximal extent of lesion, pull out balloon thing
- Insert stent introducer and cross lesion until distal marking is visible at distal edge of lesion
- Deploy under II
- Post-procedure
- Sips clear fluids
- LRD next day
