Hand assessment
Ulnar nerve:

- Finger abduction against resistance (interossei)
- Froment's sign
- Extend fingers - look for ulnar claw
Median nerve:

- Opponens pollicis
- Abductor pollicis brevis (movement of thumb to ceiling with palm up - palpate thenar eminence while doing it to be sure)
Radial nerve:
[edit | edit source]- Sensation
- Thumb extension (thumbs up)
- Wrist extension
